Happy Monday!
Today, I decided to use my Dream a Little Dream of Me polish. It's dainty and packed full of sparkle. It's fantastic as a top coat. I put it over three coats of OPI Bubble Bath. Tell me what you think.

Best of the Best
I have so many new polishes that I couldn't possibly decide which one to use on my nails. It was much easier to pick five colors.
First up is Bubble Bath. I know this color is a must have, but I'm just not the biggest fan of sheers. If I were to pick one though, this would be it. It is the best pink sheer I've ever had the pleasure of applying to my nails. This is two coats of the dainty pink.
This gorgeous dusty color is Tickle me France-y. I am in love with this color. This is two coats. I'm thinking three would be better, but I was in a hurry.
This one isn't part of the Best of the Best collection that I have. It's actually part of the Touring America collection, but I was needed a transitional color. This is a gorgeous grey creme. The application was heaven. It's so smooth and streak-free.
Another new favorite. This is the grey I've been dreaming of. I'm sure you all have encountered You Don't Know Jacques. A definite must-have, I don't know how I've lived without it.
And, lastly, we have Lincoln Park After Dark. This is two coats of the super dark purple polish.
This is indoors.
And my baby <3
Okay, everyone, have a fantastic weekend. I'll see you all on Monday.

The Muppets - Designer, de Better! (Holiday 2011)
I did paint my nails today with OPI Designer, de Better! I absolutely love this silver foil polish with little orange flecks. It's gorgeous in two coats. The application was easy and even. I have absolutely no complaints about this unique winter polish.

Excuse Moi! - The Muppets (Winter 2011)
Today I have Excuse Moi! from the new OPI Muppet collection. I was so excited when we found this collection at a small, local salon. As I mentioned before, my husband bought The Muppettes for me for Sweetest Day.
I really enjoy this color. It reminds me of a princess. Not that princesses are allowed to wear such glittery polish, but it feels like Cinderella anyway. It consists of a pink jelly base with small pink glitter and bigger circle glitter in pink, green, purple, silver, orange, and blue. It catches my attention when I see it out of the corner of my eye. It's just so pretty and girly.
Thanks for reading. I hope everyone has a wonderful week! I'll see you on Thursday.

Can I just say how wonderful my husband is? Not even because today is Sweetest Day, he bought me that Best of the Best collection of OPI minis that I was talking about the other day as well as The Muppettes. I am so excited that I returned from the store with 14 new colors! I don't even know which one to try first. I will be doing a post tomorrow on one of them, so be ready!
I have to take an online test for one of my classes now. Wish me luck.

OPI My Address is "Hollywood" & A-Taupe the Space Needle (Fall 2011)
Great news! I got cancelled this morning, which means I didn't have to work. I slept until ten, went tanning, watched Friends with Benefits for the third time and painted my nails. I'm so lazy. :)
It's such a gloomy kind of day here, so there is no sun in my pictures. It was misting all morning and it's just still really cloudy. I decided to go with My Address is "Hollywood" on my nails to kind of cheer up the day.
I wanted to try something different on my toes just to mix things up a bit, so I went with A-Taupe the Space Needle on nine of my toes with Hollywood as an accent on one.
I hope no one is too grossed out by feet :/
I really like Hollywood. OPI describes it as a dusty-rose. I would have to agree. It's a perfect dusty fall color if you are someone who, like me, needs pink in every season.
For Space Needle, I was expecting taupe. I don't know where I got the idea that taupe would be the color that dries on my nails, but it's definitely an olive green color. It's very on trend right now, but I was really hoping for taupe.
That's all that I have for now. I hope it's sunnier where you are. :)

China Glaze: It's Alive (Fall 2011)
I went to Macy's this morning to fill out my new hire paperwork only to be told that they aren't ready for seasonals yet. They said that they would be ready next week and that they would call. I definitely hope so. I did some more window shopping while I was there and found some shoes that I would love to have. They also have some very pretty bed sets that I want. I cannot wait until my husband and I get to move. It's going to be wonderful.
Anyway, I know that I already did a partial on this particular polish, but that was just not enough for me. The picture quality, especially, was awful. You can say it. I borrowed my husband's camera and discovered that close-up mode captures polish really well.
These first two are in the sunlight. You can really see the sparkle. It's a very textured look.
This is in the shade.
My dog, Carter, wondering what I'm doing :)
In the photos, I used my Nail Envy base, two coats of It's Alive, and the basic OPI top coat. I threw the RapiDry away. It was getting too gunky.
So there you have it. I love using this camera. I think my pictures turned out way better this time. I wanted everyone to see clearly how interesting this color is.
Have a fantastic Monday, everyone!

Want of the Day
I was out doing some window shopping with my wonderful husband when we passed by a local salon. They have the most extensive OPI collection I have ever seen. Anyway, on one of their front display table they had a set of OPI minis called Best of the Best. I had to go inside. For $22, you get:
Alpine Snow
Bubble Bath
Tickle My France-y
Strawberry Margarita
Cajun Shrimp
Big Apple Red
I'm Not Really a Waitress
You Don't know Jacques!
Russian Navy
Lincoln Park After Dark
While I already have a week old bottle of INRAW, I still feel the need to get this. It has so many colors that I want - making it a fantastic deal!

Grey.
I have been wanting to purchase a grey polish for at least a month now. The only reason that I haven't actually done so is that I am having the hardest time trying to figure out which grey I want. A problem that most would laugh at, but other polish addicts will probably understand.
There are so many shades of grey!
There are so many shades of grey!
- There is the OPI classic You Don't Know Jacques fall 2008. It's more of a greige color, which may look better on my skin tone?
- OPI released French Quarter for Your Thoughts this August as part of their Touring America collection.
- I also love Deborah Lippmann's Fall 2011 color called Stormy Weather. It's beautiful.
- And, lastly, a Spring 2010 Lippmann called Waking Up in Vegas.
What I really want is a Lippmann shopping spree. She just released a new one called Stairway to Heaven. I am in love.

RIP Steve Jobs
I know this is so totally unrelated to what I want this blog to be, but Steve Jobs died today. I have always been inspired by how he started Apple in his parent's garage. This speech is probably the best I have ever had the pleasure of watching. It is so inspiring. I am reminded to find something that I love and stick with it, no matter what others may say. I am here to say thank you, Steve Jobs. You were an amazing person. I hope that I can find that which I love, like you did Apple.

Pumpkin.
It doesn't feel very fall-like today, but I promised my husband that I would paint my nails with Deborah Lippmann's "Brick House". It's a color that is new for Fall 2011. We both love it. It looks red in the pictures, but it's more like a burnt orange. Absolutely perfect for fall. It also happens to be my husband's favorite color. Anyway, I used two coats in this picture.
For the accent nail, I used China Glaze's "It's Alive". It is also new for Fall 2011 and is part of their Haunting collection. I was worried that it would be more like a top-coat color, but with two coats, I found that the polish was opaque. :)
I'm satisfied with my current mani/pedi.
The only complaint I have, and I wonder if others have also found, is that OPI's RapiDry Top Coat doesn't go on very smoothly. It kinda ruined the look on some of my nails. The only reason I'm not freaking out is that I have to work tomorrow and it will probably chip anyway.
First Post
I have been wanting to do this for a long time. My life is going to change very soon and I just feel so excited and overwhelmed about all of it. I've struggled for a long time with trying to figure out what makes me happy and what is considered a hobby. While I have struggled with self esteem my whole life, I now realize that is up to me to make myself happy and make myself feel better.
In the past year, I have begun to really collect nail polish. Now, I am nowhere near what some of the other bloggers have in their collection. I don't get polishes before they're released in store. In fact, my Ulta usually is pretty slow about getting polishes. Nevertheless, I have decided to make something that I love an even bigger part of my life. I love nail polish. I would even dare to say that I am literally addicted to it.
