China Glaze: It's Alive (Fall 2011)

I went to Macy's this morning to fill out my new hire paperwork only to be told that they aren't ready for seasonals yet. They said that they would be ready next week and that they would call. I definitely hope so. I did some more window shopping while I was there and found some shoes that I would love to have. They also have some very pretty bed sets that I want. I cannot wait until my husband and I get to move. It's going to be wonderful.

Anyway,  I know that I already did a partial on this particular polish, but that was just not enough for me. The picture quality, especially, was awful. You can say it. I borrowed my husband's camera and discovered that close-up mode captures polish really well.

These first two are in the sunlight. You can really see the sparkle. It's a very textured look.
 This is in the shade.

My dog, Carter, wondering what I'm doing :)

In the photos, I used my Nail Envy base, two coats of It's Alive, and the basic OPI top coat. I threw the RapiDry away. It was getting too gunky.
So there you have it. I love using this camera. I think my pictures turned out way better this time. I wanted everyone to see clearly how interesting this color is.
Have a fantastic Monday, everyone!
