OPI - Couture de Minnie

Work is trying to sabotage my plans to save money once again. I literally cannot resist purchasing nail polish. I have absolutely no regrets on purchasing this collection though. 

It's so hard to say 'no' to Minnie when she looks like this! I remember loving the new looks that designers gave to the Minnie and Mickey family over the holiday season last year, so I was especially excited when I found out about this a few weeks ago.

I am in love with A Definite Moust-Have! I think it's my new favorite OPI.

Just Beachy

I picked up this pack of minis yesterday. Damn the gift shop at work for selling OPI!

I chose to put Cajun Shrimp today. I thought it went well with my freshly fed red hair and the lovely warm weather we are having today.

The color is gorgeous. The application is smooth, not streaky at all. It's a beautiful summer color.

Mani Monday

I had to wait until after rock climbing today, so I'm celebrating a little late. I took this idea from a post on OPI's Facebook page.

I have actually never worn I Have A Herring Problem before because I wasn't sure how this dusty blue would look, but it's not bad.

I topped it with When Monkeys Fly!, which I love.

Vesper - Spring 2013

Because it is a rainy day here in Ohio, I opted to paint my nails with a darker shade. It just seemed fitting, and it's a little harder to being myself to put on a darker shade when the weather is lovely.

I was a little iffy about Vesper when looking at it in the bottle, but on my nail it is a much prettier purple with black. Very vampy. It actually matches the eyeliner that I am wearing today as well. It always feels good to match.

I love how quickly the liquid sand dries. It is perfect for a mani on the go. I also am still just fascinated with the texture and can get enough of it. I haven't put a cream polish on in weeks!

OPI Bond Girls - Jinx (Summer 2013)

I am so happy that I snuck off to Ulta earlier today to pick up the set of Bond Girl minis. All of the colors in this collection look beautiful, but my check was on the small side this week so I settled for the minis. I don't regret it at all. It is the easiest, cheapest way to experience a new collection.
I decided to put Jinx on today. It just seemed to go perfectly with the warm, sunny we are having in Ohio today. I am in love. It is a beautiful coral.

& to think that just yesterday I was blabbering on about not having any more expensive moments of weakness. I will definitely need to get at least a few of these mermaid colors.

Mermaid's Dream

One day, I idly walked into Ulta. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I often just get the impulse that I need to buy something new. As a nail polish addict, I usually quench the thirst with some new OPI. As a already have the entire OZ collection, I had small hope that I would find something that tickled my fancy.

Little did I know that since my last trip to Ulta, they had begun carrying Deborah Lippmann polishes! My heart skipped a beat as I tconsidered the trouble that this would cause myself. My wallet is very tight with the impending big move that my husband and I are planning, but I couldn't resist. I had gone to Nordstrom several times last year searching for this specific DL polish and they were always put of stock! Ulta, however, had ONE left. Talk about meant to be. I had to purchase it. & let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Mermaids Dream is a beautiful polish that earned me a lot of compliments. I have no regrets, though I have abstained from going into Ulta since that day for fear that I may have another expensive moment of weakness. Luckily, I have a very understanding husband :)
